My name is Dr. Christy Abumere. I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP), a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), with a vast experience in psychiatric nursing. I have served in many roles i.e., Assistant Director of Nursing, Nurse Consultant, as well as a Medical Director in an outpatient mental health clinic. I am also a certified Medication-Assisted Treatment- Buprenorphine and Medical Marijuana Certifications. I specialized in working and treating individuals suffering from both acute and chronic mental health disorders, like Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, Bipolar Depression, Bipolar Disorder OCD, etc, and provides a neutral grand to individuals, and families. I worked with diverse populations from different social economic and ethnic backgrounds, and I am very much acquainted with my populations Social Determinant of Health to focus on individualized treatment plans. My goal is to help patients grow from their struggles, heal from their pain, and move forward to where they want to be in life.
