I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of nursing experience. My expertise spans mental health crisis stabilization and substance abuse, both inpatient and outpatient settings. I earned my Bachelor's in Nursing at Florida Atlantic University, followed by a Master's degree from South University and a Post-Master's from Florida State University. As a dual-certified nurse practitioner, I am qualified to practice in both primary care and psychiatry. My focus in mental health includes mood and psychotic disorders, substance abuse, and chronic mental illnesses with psychotherapeutic intervention. I maintain a comprehensive approach to care, which includes prescribing mental health medications (psychotropics) when indicated, for adolescents and adults.
