Hi, I’m Rose Adonis, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I earned my Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Wilkes University in Pennsylvania, and I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adults seeking support with conditions such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, stress, and life transitions.
I understand that reaching out for psychiatric support isn’t always easy—especially if past treatment left you feeling rushed, misunderstood, or unheard. In my practice, I take the time to slow things down, listen carefully, and understand what you’re truly experiencing. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and supported.
My approach to care is thoughtful, honest, and collaborative. I incorporate supportive therapy and psychoeducation into visits so you can better understand what’s happening with your mental health and feel more confident managing symptoms outside of appointments. I believe care works best when you’re actively involved, so I explain options clearly, discuss benefits and risks openly, and welcome your input at every step. We make decisions together, at a pace that feels realistic and comfortable for you.
I stay up to date with newer medications and emerging treatment options and thoughtfully consider them when appropriate, especially for individuals who have not found relief with standard treatments. My goal goes beyond symptom control—I want to help you feel more stable, more like yourself, and better supported in your daily life.
I am bilingual and provide care in both English and Spanish, allowing me to support a broader and more diverse community with culturally sensitive care.
