Let me guess....you're here because something isn't going the way you hoped, or maybe life is ambiguous and it feels like a lot to handle. Take a deep breath and allow me the privilege of being curious with you while we walk your path together. Sometimes life hits us with a brick. Don't lose faith. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist for more than 15 years. We are the experts on ourselves, but we forget about this when life takes an unexpected turn. There is nothing wrong with you that what's right with you cannot fix. Let's start putting the puzzle pieces together in a different way. In the words of Ram Dass, “We are all just walking each other home.”

I trust that each person has their own innate wisdom. We will focus on allowing this wisdom to arise and let it guide us toward your well-being. I use a combination of Western and Eastern psychological insights to help you identify your goals and make a plan to get you there. What can you expect from our first session? My clients say I'm incredibly empathetic, thoughtful, a great listener, and caring. But I also challenge you and encourage you to challenge yourself. I'll push you yet hold you at the same time. I specialize in working with people who want to believe in themselves again, build an authentic relationship, and feel hopeful about the future again. Let's join our paths for a brief moment during this lifetime and rest in our intrinsic awareness together.

My specialty is treating clients suffering from depression and anxiety, I am passionate about helping those who suffer from varying mental health issues. I am fully aware of the impact that living with mental health issues can take on an individual’s life. I believe in helping patients regain control in their lives in order to live their best life. Depression comes in many shapes and sizes from severe to high functioning, all forms of depression can be treatable and I believe that by working together we can come up with a treatment plan to help you feel more like yourself again. Often depression and anxiety can go hand in hand, working with clients who have experienced feelings of both depression and anxiety we can determine appropriate coping skills to help manage both. We are seeing more and more individuals who experience varying level of trauma from bullying at school, or in the workplace, as well as spiritual trauma from religious experiences. Hi there, thanks for reading! For many of us it's difficult to ask for help, and sometimes it feels like no one around us understands or has been to a really dark or frightening place. To me, our family and friends are the most important things in this life, and without them eventually things can feel very empty. Although sometimes we can feel lost even when we have good people around us and a decent job. I try to help everyone I work with sort out what's helping and what's making things worse. It could be our job, an awful inner critic, what we think people see when they look at us in the grocery store, or many other things. Hopefully everyone I get to work with feels greeted warmly, heard, and like they're talking with someone who genunely cares. Humor to me is very important, and when I've been able to genuinely laugh with someone I work with, I think progress is always possible. Open to seeing adolescents 15 years old and older.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have more than 3 years of working in private practice. My formal education and professional experience have prepared me to counsel individuals, couples, families, and groups. I understand that asking for help can be challenging and uncomfortable for some. My goal, as your counselor, is to create a space where you can be open, vulnerable, and communicate your feelings without judgment. My primary theoretical approach is cognitive behavior therapy. This is a short-term, goal-oriented psychotherapy treatment that takes a hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving. I want to assure you, as a client, you are in complete control. We can work together to help you reach your goals. My objective is to help you grow and move forward to where you want to be in your life.

In a world that continues to turn with or without us, we often wonder where we can get off in order to regroup. When we are expected to fulfill all of the everyday roles that we have taken on, we tend to lose touch with ourselves. My purpose is to provide an open, restorative and non-judgmental healing space for you. I am pleased to work with individuals who want help with anxiety, depression, trauma and grief. As well as providing support during life transitions, unexpected changes and personal growth. I don't believe in the cookie cutter approach, everyone is different and has different needs. I believe the client should have complete autonomy on their journey. I am here to support you as you move through healing from anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, anger management or even if you just need someone to listen. The goal for me is to make sure that the client feels welcomed, respected and safe. I look forward to walking with you on this new journey.
