I value empathy and a comprehensive understanding of the systems at play in a person's life. I have a passion for understanding each client on an individual level and tailoring treatment to the client's needs. I value demonstrating openness, empathy, and validation with each client by using an integrated and holistic approach. I use a variety of techniques from various theoretical lenses, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions, Humanistic approaches, and Expressive Therapy techniques. I provide a welcoming, humorous, and safe environment for the client to work towards gaining insight and achieving their therapeutic goals. I have experience working with a large client base in a variety of settings, including private practice, psychiatric hospitals, and a therapeutic day school. I specialize in working with children and adolescents with a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Specifically, I has a passion for working with those who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as families needing extra support and care. I also have experience providing court-ordered therapy. This includes Reunification therapy, co-parenting therapy, and individual counseling. I have several years working within the Forensic Psychology field and am passionate about ensuring that mental health needs are met within the scope of the legal system.
