I am inspired by the emotional growth we learn from in life. My twenty years in the healing profession has taught me the value of compassion and psychological insight; the ingredients to good therapy. I draw from a range of modalities and tailor my therapeutic approach to meet your emotional needs. My preferences are psychodynamic, attachment, strength based theory, client centered, trauma focused, DBT, IFS and humanistic. Ultimately, therapy is about the relationship. The feeling that this is a “good match” to share your vulnerabilities. I am most confident working with individuals or couples, women’s and men’s issues, with the abuser and the abused(same sex & hetero couples), trauma of all forms, queer issues, identity, racism, oppression, chronic health, seniors, aging, substance use, grief, loss death & dying. Also, depression, anxiety, bipolar, borderline, codependency and etc. My goal is for you to leave sessions with new ways to understand yourself. I hope for the opportunity to be a healing part of your journey.

For the woman who feels overwhelmed, anxious, and tired of carrying everything on her own. You’re the one others depend on. You may be a first-generation woman balancing family expectations with your own dreams. A college student or young adult trying to succeed while quietly battling self-doubt. A mom-to-be navigating anxiety about the unknown. Or a mother who loves her children deeply but feels burned out, overstimulated, and stretched thin. You are capable. Responsible. Strong. And yet — you feel overwhelmed. That’s where I come in. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques to help you: Identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns Reduce anxiety and racing thoughts Strengthen emotional regulation skills Build confidence and self-trust Set healthy boundaries without guilt Create small, realistic changes that lead to lasting growth I specialize in supporting first-generation women, moms-to-be, mothers across the lifespan, young adults, and college students experiencing anxiety, stress, and burnout. Many of the women I work with are high-achieving and deeply caring — but they’ve learned to prioritize everyone else’s needs over their own. My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and empowering. I believe you already carry strength and resilience — therapy is about helping you access it more consistently and intentionally. Our work together will feel collaborative and supportive. You won’t be judged. You won’t be rushed. You will be heard. As a fluent Spanish-speaking therapist and proud first-generation college graduate, I deeply understand the cultural values, family responsibility, and achievement pressure many women carry. You won’t have to explain the invisible weight of being “the strong one.” I see it — and I honor it. Therapy with me is a space where you can slow down, breathe, and learn that you don’t have to do everything perfectly to be worthy. You deserve support. You deserve rest. You deserve a space that is just for you. If you’re ready to feel more grounded, empowered, and supported in this season of your life, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
