Hello, and welcome! My name is Vicky and I am a Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. My clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, college students, and adults in educational settings and private practice. My journey in this field is driven by a profound passion for helping individuals navigate their unique mental health challenges. Currently, I work with women across the lifespan, from perinatal to empty nesters. Whether you are on a journey to becoming a mom or a new mom adjusting to motherhood, we will work together to help develop healthy emotional regulation and coping skills. I also enjoy working with college students navigating the various stressors that come along with higher education. Together, we can work on strategies that enhance your mental health and overall quality of life. I look forward to being a part of your journey towards healing and growth.

I am inspired by the emotional growth we learn from in life. My twenty years in the healing profession has taught me the value of compassion and psychological insight; the ingredients to good therapy. I draw from a range of modalities and tailor my therapeutic approach to meet your emotional needs. My preferences are psychodynamic, attachment, strength based theory, client centered, trauma focused, DBT, IFS and humanistic. Ultimately, therapy is about the relationship. The feeling that this is a “good match” to share your vulnerabilities. I am most confident working with individuals or couples, women’s and men’s issues, with the abuser and the abused(same sex & hetero couples), trauma of all forms, queer issues, identity, racism, oppression, chronic health, seniors, aging, substance use, grief, loss death & dying. Also, depression, anxiety, bipolar, borderline, codependency and etc. My goal is for you to leave sessions with new ways to understand yourself. I hope for the opportunity to be a healing part of your journey.
