Adulting can feel like one big transition! Hi, I’m Kim, and I specialize in supporting Gen Z and Millennial adults (ages 18–44) as they navigate the many changes of early and mid-adulthood. Whether you’re graduating, starting or changing careers, moving to a new city, navigating workplace connections & adult friendships, experiencing burnout, or simply figuring out what’s next—I’m here to support you through these pivotal moments. Drawing on 17 years of clinical experience—and my own journey of moving cross-country four times and working in start-ups, non-profits, hospitals, and government agencies—I provide a supportive and practical space to manage uncertainty, process change, and explore new possibilities. My goal is to help you manage feelings of overwhelm, build resilience, and gain clarity so you can move forward with confidence and a stronger sense of self.

I have worked with individuals with ADHD and anxious thinkers for over a decade. I take a strengths-based approach to learning how to work with your brain instead of against it. While working with me, you will learn practical skills to help you increase your self-confidence.

I primarily use CBT and Psychodynamic theory when working with clients. I believe in being very direct and blunt with clients as this will help them grow. I don't beat around the bush or allow clients to get away with self-deception and confront their irrational and dysfunctional belief systems. I am comfortable treating a variety of symptoms and conditions. I believe in creating a safe space for clients to express themselves however they need to. This encourages growth and trust in the therapeutic alliance. I encourage clients to set the goals they want to reach. This is their process. Wherever they want to go, I will help them get there. I tell my clients I am the car. They are the driver. We go to the destination they determine. The first session with me is information gathering so I will be asking a lot of questions and they will be doing most of the talking.

I am a LCSW with over 15 years of experience counseling and life coaching. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, stress, anger issues, career challenges, grief, and many other challenging issues. I have also helped many people who have experienced diverse types of traumas. My therapy style is warm and compassionate, but direct and honest. I provide a holistic perspective, am interactive and empathetic. I will give you an opportunity to be transparent while providing safety and sensitivity. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, strengths-based, and solution-focused approaches. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
