In addition, I have experience helping clients coping with depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, addictions, parenting issues, & anger management. Helping clients to identify strategies to reach their goals is my objective. I want clients to work through their unique challenges and learn to manage their stressors to live healthy and productive lives. Furthermore, I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps toward a change. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I have over 20 years of experience working with all ages from teenagers to seniors. One thing I’ve learned through my experience is there is no shame in reaching out for help when we feel life is going against us. We all need it at some point, and if you realize you need some extra support, it is a healthy sign that you want to improve your life in some way. I follow the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) models to work with my clients to develop different ways of interacting with the world in order to get unstuck. If you are ready to try a different way of managing stress, anxiety, and depression, working as a team we can help you feel more connected to what is important, be present, and do what matters in life.

I graduated from USC with my MSW in 2014 and I am and independently licensed clinical Social Worker in WA, CA, MA & NM. I chose this career path because I believe we all need to be passionate and engaged with our own emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It impacts how we think, feel, and act; and, it also helps determine how we manage stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. My practice includes adolescents 13 and above. I have been an Independently Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2018. The approach I use is to focus on strengths and help work towards solutions in one’s life. I also believe that a holistic view of our mind and body needs attention. I hope that my client's know they are heard within sessions, and that we have worked together towards mental wellbeing; however, I want them to recognize that they have the ability to use what they learn out in the world on their own!
