I knew I wanted to be a therapist when I saw several movies with therapist as the main character. I believe change happens when we all work together to help each other. Clients who get the most out of therapy with me are clients with variety of different issues and concerns. Three words that describe my style are cultural competency, empathy and effective listening skills. Something about me that is unique is I have ran several 10K and 5K races and running is a hobby and passion of mine. What influences me to do the work do is striving be the best person I can be and helping others to do the same. I grew up as a Army brat as my Dad was in the Army and he retired after 20 years in the service. I got to see the world and the country and that has shaped my world views.

The issues I work with in therapy often involve mind-body connections. What is beneficial for the body is beneficial for the brain, and vice versa. My openness and inclusivity guide my therapeutic approach. I do not judge; I accept. I focus on your uniqueness and personal goals throughout the therapeutic process. I specialize in Depression and Mood Disorders, Anxiety, and Trauma. I offer natural and behavioral treatments designed to complement or provide alternatives to medication, aligning with your personal preferences. Research shows that the therapeutic relationship significantly contributes to therapy's success. While I can't guarantee I'm the perfect fit, I commit to exploring and addressing your concerns together. Please reach out, and we'll collaboratively work toward enhancing your quality of life.
