I am from Philadelphia, PA and grew up in southern NJ. I began my career in the corporate world and in a variety of creative environments, specifically in graphic design and music. I shifted my career path following several traumatic events that radically challenged my goals and changed my perspectives and beliefs about helping. It was that moment that I explored my life’s purpose and began to find ways to help others as a result of being unable to find the help I needed to cope and to function. Although those experiences were the most painful I have experienced, each has greatly influenced my approach to being an empathic listener and a non-judgmental clinician who can understand the impact of great pain and loss. I work with a variety of patients, including children, college students, couples, families, and older adults. Professionally, my approach is dialectical and as a DBT certified clinician I offer life skills that are practical, easy to recall, and allow for change.
