Welcome! My name is Dr. Melissa Hurley, and for the past 25 years I have been helping people solve problems, cope with everyday life, and realize their full potential while dealing with trauma, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, bipolar illness, grief and loss, career crises, sexual identity, ADHD and more. The first step, reaching out for help, can feel overwhelming. However, rest assured: when you are ready to make that leap, I will be here with a soft place for you to land. I believe every human being is worthy, unique, and deserving of compassion and respect. As such, my practice is based upon a blend of cognitive-behavioral and humanistic therapies. Here we will determine your specific, individual needs and develop a partnership within which you can safely explore your concerns and achieve your goals. Ours will be a warm, welcoming therapeutic environment within which real growth and change can occur. Let’s work together to create a better future for you. All the best!
