She also utilizes various tools from other orientations, such as SFT and Experiential Therapy. Additionally, she specializes in treating the perinatal period. This period includes the time spent preconception, pregnancy, and up to 1 year postpartum for all members of the family. Support is vital in an overwhelming and complex season. This unique time brings highs and lows unlike any other. Perinatal Mood Disorder (PMAD) can resemble depression, anxiety, OCD, or intrusive thoughts, and specific support is necessary for a smooth recovery. Katelyn specialize in PMAD treatments with a perinatal mental health certification from Postpartum Support International [PHM-C].
