He who has a why to live can bear any how. Many of us are in some form of suffering, & this can derail us from a meaningful life. Learning how to live with our pain so as to gain purpose-meaning is a true endeavor. From a collaborative process, I help my clients to establish what purpose they seek & discover ways to validate our pain, learning to control rather than being controlled by fears, depression, et cetera. Through therapeutic interventions, we can learn to accept how we think, feel, & act. Subsequently allowing us the opportunity to discover new areas for growth & healing. Primary treatment involves an Existential-Cognitive-Neuroscience approach supported by CBT & DBT interventions to help clients learn about their pain and understand how to heal to improve their overall quality of life. My approach promotes an authentic relationship with clients to identify pain & suffering, whereas utilizing interventions to improve healing & client's overall self-problem-solving abilities.
