Hi, I’m Shideh, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and PsyD candidate, but first and foremost, a fellow human who deeply believes in the power of connection, healing, and growth. Therapy isn’t just my profession, it’s my passion, rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported exactly as they are.
I know how messy, painful, and overwhelming life can get, I’ve walked my own winding path, and that journey shapes the deep empathy I bring to my work. Whether you’re navigating relationship struggles, trauma, depression, ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, or simply trying to make sense of where you are in life, I offer a warm, safe, and judgment-free space where you can be your full, authentic self.
As someone fluent in Persian (Farsi), I understand how cultural identity and values influence our relationships and emotional well-being. I’m also a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ community, honored to support clients of all identities, backgrounds, and orientations as they move through life’s complexities.
In my practice, I integrate a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and client-centered approaches to meet you where you are. I also hold advanced training and certifications in DBT Strategies for Use with Individuals and Couples to Reduce Toxic Dynamics, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Training, and EFT: Attachment Science in Practice.
My goal is to help you rediscover your strengths, gain clarity, and feel more grounded and empowered in your daily life. Healing isn’t always easy, but you don’t have to walk that road alone. I’m here to accompany you, with warmth, compassion, and care, every step of the way.
