I received my Psy.D. from the University of Hartford in September 2015. My clinical interests are varied and include child and adolescent therapy, TF-CBT, rural psychology, telemental health, sexual and domestic violence, psychological assessment, and mental illness prevention. My dissertation focused on sexual assault on college campuses and institutional response. I completed an APA-accredited internship through the Heart of America Psychology Training Consortium (now known as the Psychology Training Consortium) and my postdoctoral residency at Family Psychological Center, P.A. in Harrison, Arkansas. I presently have a full-time private practice, RMH-Therapy, that provides services in Sioux Falls South Dakota and telehealth services to children and adolescents, as well as psychological assessments to individuals across the lifespan. I use HIPAA-compliant software to offer telemental health services to children and adolescents across the state of South Dakota. I am an author as well as a writer for The UpTake, a non-profit newspaper in the Twin Cities, and a speaker with PESI. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Telemental Health. I created Resiliency Mental Health to provide resources to other professionals, including telemental health activities for kids, CBT and mindfulness worksheets, and education about mental health.
