As a bilingual Latina, I live and work in the far west of Texas. My professional path has led me through three major cities: Austin, San Antonio, and El Paso. Initially, my work focused on children and teens within the criminal justice system and Child Protective Services. After moving across the state, I expanded my expertise to include autism spectrum disorders, asthma, and chronic illnesses in children, supporting parents and caregivers as a case manager and educator. Later, I transitioned to providing psychotherapy to both adults and children at a community behavioral health clinic in East San Antonio. Seeing children and parents being successful despite negative experiences has been rewarding. After a break to start and raise my family, I decided to return to psychotherapy. Assisting others in discovering hope amidst challenges and adversity is profoundly impactful. Observing change and growth in individuals over time brings me joy.
