Mental health and wellbeing has always been a passion for me. I believe that counseling is a catalyst to create change in our lives. My role as a therapist is to provide feedback, be witness, offer support and provide resources as clients seek to achieve therapy goals. I practice a person-centered, collaborative approach to counseling while utilizing cognitive behavioral and mindfulness techniques. I develop a customized treatment plan to fit the individual needs of each client. It is truly an honor to support my clients as they seek to live their best life.
I specialize in treating anxiety and depression and enjoy working with individuals across the lifespan. As a former teacher and school counselor, I also have experience with a wide variety of issues children and adolescents face including: anxiety disorders, ADHD, school adjustment difficulties, and stress management.
A strong therapeutic relationship is essential to good therapy. First and foremost, I provide a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment. Throughout our time together, we will both share our ideas as to how we will work together.
