My approach to counseling is through a holistic lens, focusing on the relationship between mind, body and spirit, thus leading to a deeper awareness of self. I believe that counseling can lead to empowerment, healing and to an overall increased sense of mental, emotional and physical wellbeing. I use a multisensory approach to counseling where I use a variety of props, strategies and theories to best meet the needs of my clients. I see clients 14 years and up and have extensive experience with teens and young adults who are in transitions and balancing work, college classes and the demands of life. Common symptoms I see are anxiety, depression, stress management, grief/ loss and trauma. I strive to meet my clients where they are and my goal is to be of help and service to my clients along their journey in counseling, encouraging them to actualize their goals, empowering them to make the changes they seek and supporting them along the way.
I am trained in Advanced Acceleration Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.) to help people heal from traumas, anxiety, depression, ADHD and grief and loss among other emotional struggles.
