I have been an independent therapist for 12 years.
In addition, I have been a clinical advisor/supervisor at Boston University’s Online Social Work School since 2012 and doing remote psychotherapy since 2011. I focus on the connection between emotional wellness and physical health (fertility and various medical issues). In my individual sessions, I use evidenced based interventions to increase coping skills. These coping skills help clients develop a “tool kit” to use when managing the various aspects of their lives. Some of the tools are mindfulness, thought restructuring (CBT), organizational techniques, stress reduction, and psycho-dynamic therapy.
I have a BS from Florida State University, MA in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State and an MSW from Columbia University. My post graduate work is from The Beck Institute specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I love tennis and spending time with my family.
