I’m passionate about supporting people in their journey for growth, fulfillment, and resolution to life challenges. I’ll help you to identify both internal and external obstacles to achieving well being, and work with you to develop and execute a plan for meeting your goals for therapy. My approach incorporates empathetic listening, positive thinking and psychology, and brain science. It sometimes involves teaching techniques for assertive communication, stress management, conflict resolution, relationship building, mindfulness practices, and various other forms of self care.
I have an interfaith marriage, with two step daughters and my daughter who my husband and I adopted from Russia. Due to my own life experiences and makeup, I have developed a level of understanding of the impact of divorce, challenges of blended families, and issues for parents and children surrounding adoption.
