I am dual-licensed as a marriage and family therapist and professional clinical counselor. I use a strength based perspective that focuses on a client's innate potential rather than pathologies and shortfalls. I respect my client's autonomy and self-determination and believe that we are resourceful individuals who will work our way towards finding answers that best fit our situations. I build an open, authentic relationship with my clients with the intention of examining inhibited issues, biases and identify practical solutions to problems. My experience with adults has included clients of various ethnicities and addressed a range of mental health concerns including, mood disorders, grief and loss, relationship problems, and life transitions. My former career in Corporate America of over 12 years gives me an understanding of office environments, team dynamics and managing work related stressors. I consider myself curious, and fascinated by experiences and nuances of daily interactions.
