I have always said that one has to have the mind and heart to do the profound, powerful, difficult, yet innovative work that therapy is. It is a tremendous honor and humbling experience for me to be in this line of work. I am a bilingual/Spanish-speaking Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) experienced working with survivors of domestic and intimate partner violence, teens, along with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and personality disorders. My therapeutic approaches include trauma-informed and anti-oppressive lens, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Internal Family Systems. I am also a certified psychedelic-assisted psychotherapist and a group facilitator for the Integrative Psychiatry Institute. On my spare time, I love to read, pray, meditate, journal, watch Bollywood movies, and spend time with friends, family, and mom's pup, Bruno.
