My connection to mental health stems from a personal place as a first generation female navigating biracial identities, grief, life transitions, and unlearning ideas of worth connected to productivity and people pleasing that no longer serve me. I believe the path to transformational change begins within, but it is not always clear where to begin or how when we are feeling stuck. If you are looking for more than just a therapist that will listen, I am motivated by building trust in the therapeutic relationship to collaboratively develop an action plan that will get you on a path of feeling better and leading an authentically fulfilled life. I’ve worked in mental health for 18 years, providing compassionate and culturally sensitive therapy using solution focused, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness techniques. I specialize in treatment of stress/anxiety, depression, grief, codependency, phase of life transitions, marital/relationship issues, and professional burnout.
