My path to becoming a psychotherapist began in journalism, where I learned the power of truly listening to people’s stories. That experience taught me how healing it can be to feel truly seen and understood and this value continues to guide my work in therapy today.
I work with teens (14+), adults, couples, and families, and I bring a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and immigrant experiences. With fluency in Hindi and Gujarati, I’m able to provide therapy in multiple languages and support clients in navigating the complexities of identity, belonging, and transition across cultures.
My approach is collaborative, integrative, and tailored to each person’s needs. I draw from Internal Family Systems, family systems theory, and psychodynamic perspectives to help uncover patterns and deepen self-understanding, while also grounding my work in CBT and other evidence-based practices that provide concrete tools for daily life. This balance allows clients to both explore the “why” beneath their struggles and build practical strategies for change.
Clients who work with me can expect warmth, cultural sensitivity, and a supportive partnership. Together, we’ll explore what’s keeping you stuck, tap into your strengths, and create lasting pathways toward resilience and growth.
Outside of the therapy room, I find balance in tending to my native garden and spending time with my dog. These grounding practices remind me of the importance of nurturing growth and creating space for reflection. I look forward to working with you!
