I have been a counselor for over five years, including outpatient and inpatient settings. I have experience working with adults & the geriatric population. My focus is on establishing a strong therapeutic relationship and allowing the individual the freedom to work towards their recovery. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF- CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help individuals who have experienced trauma. It is most important to me to establish a strong therapeutic alliance with my client in order for them to feel comfortable to discuss any issue they are struggling with.
