I am licensed as a Marriage & Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counselor in California since 1982. I currently specialize in individual counseling and psychotherapy for adults and couples. My office is located in rural Valley Center, CA. I see people in-person or online. People come to me for various reasons: Help with important relationships; To return to a state of calm, confidence and joy; Recover a sense of hope for the future; Regain lost vitality in living; To find creativity and achieve more in life; Or to overcome self-destructive behaviors and addictions. I can vary my work with you depending upon what you want to accomplish. Together, we can set goals and solve problems. Or, I can help you learn to relax and become less reactive to the challenges in your life. Or we can go deeper to discover the nature of self-defeating habits so that they can be cast aside and replaced by ones that are more constructive and rewarding. We might do all three.
