A new year is finally here and for many that means reflecting on the past and setting new intentions. You may be planning new goals, reflecting on current relationships and what may no longer serve you, having more time to explore your identity & sexuality, reflecting on current relationships, and or acknowledging it's time to put yourself as a priority and start healing. One of my focus populations is that of teen years to late 30s where many changes in life occur- whether that be an ending of a relationship to transitioning to a new stage in life. As a trauma-informed therapist, I use theoretical frameworks and techniques that are best for the client’s needs. These include CBT, acceptance & commitment therapy, narrative, solution-focused, and inner child work. I believe in the importance of a holistic approach to mental well-being and the interconnected nature of mind and bodily health and incorporate mindfulness in each session. I am here to support and be a guide to help people heal through their vulnerability and inner strength. I can help with anxiety & depression, life transitions, relationship issues, LGBTQIA+ needs, women’s issues, daily stress, finding fulfillment & purpose, self-esteem, mood changes, and more. I have advanced training in affirmative therapy and worked at a center primarily working with the LGBTQIA+ community helping kids, adults, and couples with identity, transition, coming out & acceptance, dysphoria, and other needs. As an MFT, I also have advanced training and experience with couples. From working through infidelity, intimacy issues, decision making, family challenges, and break up mediation. My work experience includes working with high-trauma, marginalized and oppressed communities, and private practice clients. I have genuine compassion and true care for all my clients and believe the relationship between myself and the client is imperative for positive change.
I look forward to working with you along your healing journey soon!
