"What if no one has ever broke your heart but they broke your expectations. What if when they broke your expectations they helped you get closer to your heart." Kyle Cease Before becoming a License Mental Health Counselor, I was the result of a heart broken by many expectations. I grew closer to my heart by learning how to heal. Through healing, I’ve been influenced by many mentors, extensive academia pursuits and trainings that’s has provided me with knowledge and wisdom that I pour into others. In Florida, I’ve gained 15 years of experience working as a School Counselor as well as a Contract Therapist. I have worked with clients who exhibit a range of concerns like adjusting to the changes of life, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, attachment, parenting, career, OCD, ADHD, trauma, academic challenges and addiction. Would you like an opportunity to indulge in the comfort of empathetic compassionate understanding while exploring the intricacies of your existence? As easy as it sounds, the reality is that it takes effort, consistency, trust, self reliance, motivation and sacrifice amongst others. Within the therapeutic process, we will trek through many conceptions together thus providing you with the tools to redesign who you thought you were and become more of who you desire to be. Considering dynamics such as age, culture, social status and many more: an array of therapeutic approaches tailored to your specific needs will be utilized in a way to ease you through the process of identifying your roadblocks to repave your road. My eclectic approach consist of cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, solution-focused, mindfulness and rational-emotive therapy to name a few. I appreciate your courage to reach out so I am here to hold space for you and help you begin to heal.
