I am Jooyoung Kim, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio. I started off with untraditional background as a computer science student in undergrad. I chose psychology and counseling education as my new professional goals and learned the power of education on mental health. Then, I passed my first counselor licensing exam in 2020 and have been practicing ever since. I use holistic and eclectic approaches in my counseling practice; however, I do feel passionate about certain approaches that reside in the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. My specialties fall under two separate categories: 1) Clinical Mental Health counseling for Adult ADHD, Anxiety, Trauma, and Relational Difficulties and 2) Financial Therapy (unhealthy relationships with money). I am here to help you with the current of your life, honoring your wanting to understand your past, to learn about your present self, and to build the life you would like moving forward.
