Dale Ayres, M.S.W. (he/him)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Certified Sex Therapist
I believe healing happens when we can show up as our whole selves—messy, complex, and real. In my practice, I take a holistic approach, looking at all areas of your life and gently challenging the beliefs that may be holding you back. Whether you're struggling with deep-rooted trauma, navigating a life transition, or simply feeling stuck, I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel truly seen, supported, and empowered to grow.
I specialize in supporting individuals dealing with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, perfectionism, religious trauma, work and school stress, and relationship challenges. I also work with clients managing alcohol and substance use disorders (including PNP/meth addiction), sexual compulsivity (such as sex and porn addiction, use of sex workers, public encounters, and betrayal trauma).
My therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Compassion-Focused Therapy—along with my own lived experiences. I walk alongside you every step of the way, helping you discover your resilience, reclaim joy, and access the tools you need to move forward.
Clients often tell me they feel more confident, grounded, and equipped to face life’s challenges after working together. My goal is to help you build a life where healing is not just possible—it’s inevitable.
When I’m not in session, I recharge by hiking, traveling, e-bike riding, and exploring new places with my beloved doggies.
Let’s begin your journey—together.
