Therapy is a unique experience and I believe that we are most balanced when we feel safe and understood, non-judgmentally. As a bilingual therapist (English and Spanish), I strive to ensure that clients are provided the space to effectively express themselves in a way that makes sense to them. I have experience working with children, teens, families, and couples who can be experiencing challenges with life transitions, anxiety, depression, stress, or simply would like a neutral person to talk to.
My approach to therapy is prioritizing your needs and personalizing sessions to reflect that. Specifically, the therapeutic styles that I utilize are Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
Ultimately, therapy is about recognizing that your mental health matters and valuing the process to get there.
