I am committed to facilitating a transformative journey toward enhanced self-awareness, empowerment, and fulfillment. My objective is to establish a supportive environment where we can cultivate authenticity, dismantle barriers of stigma and shame, and foster resilience. In my practice, I focus on supporting patients in managing anxiety, coping with health ailments, navigating depression, processing past traumas, and adapting to life transitions. I also assist individuals in addressing addictive behaviors that may hinder personal growth and affect relationships. What distinguishes my approach is my rich personal background as an immigrant, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ individual. These experiences enable me to connect with others who share similar backgrounds, providing a safe and understanding space to explore the complexities of life in the US. As a seasoned Clinical Social Worker, I adopt a holistic approach, considering both the individual and their broader environment. Rooted in empathy and compassion, I use evidence-based practices to tailor our work to your unique needs and aspirations. I hold a Master’s in Social Work degree from the University of Washington (2004), an Independent Clinical Social Worker License, and a Psychological Trauma Certificate from the University of Washington. I am excited about the opportunity to collaborate with you on your journey of self-discovery and healing.
