My approach to therapy is a strengths’-based approach, finding your positives and building off of them. Everyone has qualities that they’ve used and developed as a result of difficult moments, which creates resourcefulness and resilience. I love assisting clients in identifying coping skills and strengths they didn’t notice they had! My goal is to help you find what strengths have worked for you and develop them into assets.
I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and have a special interest in family dynamics and in attachment. Part of my career has been in community mental health, helping work with a variety of families in family therapy, creating change by working with every individual. Thus, one of my specialties is understanding your family background and the dynamics at play, more quickly.
I’ve worked with people of all ages and backgrounds, and part of my young adult life I spent living in Argentina, helping me learn Spanish fluently.
