My name is Rachel and I love working with kids! I have a dual Master's degree in Social Work and Public Health from Washington University in St. Louis. I am a licensed independent clinical social worker in the state of Washington (LW61500440). I have over a decade of experience working with littles in various capacities including most recently with the Department of Children, Youth, and Families. I offer a tailored approach to all littles I'm working with to address symptoms related to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression, anxiety, and managing big feelings. Littles are amazingly resilient and can thrive with a little love and support.
The most important aspect of developing a therapeutic relationship with littles is building trust. I will create a safe and inviting space where littles can be completely themselves. As we get to know each other through play, I will develop a tailored approach utilizing mindfulness, TF-CBT, play and art therapy, and EMDR to help each little live a happier and healthier life. I also offer sessions specifically for parents to discuss ongoing concerns and develop a plan for at-home responses when issues arise.
