I’m so glad you found me. I'm a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals across various settings, including community mental health agencies, schools, and private practice.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with children, teens, and families, helping to navigate complex family dynamics and providing tailored support to each unique situation. I understand that parenting and family relationships can be challenging, and I am here to offer guidance, compassion, and practical tools to help families thrive.
For younger clients, I offer play therapy, a proven approach that allows children to express themselves through play and creative activities. Adolescents benefit from play therapy still, as well as more expressive arts activities with a therapeutic base, especially when they find the idea of therapy to be uncomfortable.
Additionally, I am deeply knowledgeable in supporting individuals with disabilities and unexpected medical diagnoses, offering guidance around diagnosis, acceptance, and advocacy. I also have extensive experience supporting people through grief, loss, and relationship challenges, especially those who are navigating the difficult process of leaving abusive relationships.
My therapeutic approach is centered on meeting you where you are, using evidence-based methods such as play therapy, sand tray therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies. These approaches are adaptable, and I strive to find what works best for you, supporting you in building resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful change.
I understand that finding a therapist who feels like the right fit can be challenging, and if you're looking for someone who offers a caring, collaborative approach, I may be the therapist for you. Together, we can work towards your goals in a way that feels safe, supportive, and validating.
