I believe that an individual's problems or issues are psychological in nature and of no specific kind or degree, but rather depend on the specialty of the therapist. The key idea behind therapy is that each individual person is unique and distinctive, which means that a one size fits all approach to therapy will not be effective, whether the therapy is intended to help someone recover physically from a car accident, or emotionally from a traumatic event. As a therapist, I utilize techniques and develop a treatment plan designed specifically for each client's unique needs, addressing peculiarities of the client's personality and situation rather than providing generic treatment which may be less effective. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and a National Certified Counselor. My formal education has prepared me to counsel individuals, groups, couples, families, adults, adolescents, and children.
