Although I believe therapy is a collaborative effort, I believe in the importance of tailoring therapy to individual needs of the client. I don’t believe there is a one size fits therapy. I feel my role is to help provide a different lens into your life, using strength based practices and solution focused techniques. I have worked in crisis mental health for over 15 years and in the general field of counseling for over 20. Therefore I have experience with a variety of issues including mood disorders, personality disorders, crisis situations or symptoms and severe long term diagnoses. I am honored to be allowed to be involved in one’s journey through life. I have received my BA from University of California, Irvine, and my MA from George Fox University. I believe in the importance of having a holistic lens through both my professional and personal life. Self-care is important for everyone with nature being a frequent and part of my self-care.
Open to working with children 6 years and older.
