I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with expertise in depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, substance use disorders, and culturally competent treatment. As an African American clinician, I am deeply committed to providing culturally responsive care, creating a safe and affirming space where individuals can explore their challenges and strengths.
My experience spans both juvenile and adult corrections, where I have worked directly with justice-involved individuals, helping them navigate the intersection of trauma, systemic oppression, mental health, and addiction. I have extensive experience treating substance use disorders, addressing the underlying causes of addiction while promoting long-term recovery and resilience.
Now in private practice, I continue my mission of breaking down barriers to mental health and addiction treatment for BIPOC communities. My work is rooted in a trauma-informed and holistic approach, ensuring that every client receives compassionate, evidence-based care that honors their lived experiences and empowers them to heal and thrive.
