I have been a mental health therapist for many years now. I assist others during difficult times, while facing life challenges, and during crisis and with adjustment. I also share in their better moments and times of progress, improvement, and development. I have learned from every encounter. I have come to believe in the ability of the human being to become more than their struggle. Psychotherapy is a talk therapy that involves self-disclosure, transparency, shared insights, skills building, decision making, and follow through. It also includes both a desire to improve, a belief that it is possible, and the willingness to live it out. It is a determined yet open approach to life and it requires practice. I treat most conditions including depression, anxiety, impulse control, adjustment, PTSD, substance use, and relationship issues. I provide single session therapy, brief therapy, and longer therapy as needed. I also provide faith based counseling upon request.
