I believe we all have within us the ability to find hope, joy and purpose in life. I utilize various evidence-based practices to achieve lasting results, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy and Child-Centered Therapy. My hope is that every client who works with me will leave knowing a bit more about their brain-body-emotion connection, will have concrete strategies to start changing their lives and will increase their self-compassion as they understand more about their mental health challenges.
I work with both children and adults and am a registered Play Therapist. This allows me to provide science and evidence-based information to parents as they navigate their child's needs. I am also level 1 and 2 Gottman Institute trained to help couples achieve more fulfilling relationships. I assist teens in navigating identity development, managing school and life stressors and starting healthy habits in today's modern age.
