I am a graduate of Western Michigan University with my Masters of social Work and Graduate certificate in Alcohol and Drug Abuse. I also hold my Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certification (CAADC). I have experience working with individuals who have struggled with mental health and substance use concerns. In regard to substance use, I have over 4 years of experience working within co-occurring programs to not only address one’s substance use but also their mental health and the relation between the two. I have worked with individuals as young as 13 years old. I recently have been attending trainings in Military and First Responder treatment and am a preferred provider on the Star Behavioral Health website for military personnel. I am able to assist individuals through grief and loss, difficult decisions, self-esteem and boundary problems, anxiety, depression, anger, substance use and traumatic events.
