“Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it." - Helen Keller A Texas girl through and through, I was born in Dallas and raised in San Antonio by loving parents. Through them I learned what it meant to work hard, have compassion toward others, leadership skills and the value and importance of community service. It is no wonder, from their guidance, that I chose a similar path. I am married with two children. I went to Baylor University and received an undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders. I then went to The University of Texas at San Antonio and received a Master’s Degree in Counseling. I am Texas board certified and currently hold licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I see individuals with a wide range of issues, including; common life stressors-work, social anxiety, family/relational issues, depression, anxiety, to more serious concerns such as stroke and brain injuries.
