I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who was born and raised in the Caribbean and immigrated to the United States at age twelve. I obtained my Master's Degree from Columbia University in Social Work and have been a licensed clinician for eight years. I primarily work with adults but also have experience working with adolescence population. I specialized in working with individuals who experience anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, substance abuse, psychosis, bipolar disorder, and life transitions, to name a few. My goal as a therapist is to always meet the client where they are; to provide a space where the client is heard and validated; to provide guidance, empathy, and support to allow the client to build on their own strengths to in turn process and overcome their life challenges.
