I believe therapy is a collaborative effort and my goal is to assist you with attaining your therapeutic goals. As your therapist, I am here to actively listen, acknowledge, and process with you. I believe when we pause and allow ourselves to reflect on our story, acknowledge our obstacles faced, and process our journey, we harvest growth and wisdom from within. I am a Licensed Provider for Minnesota, Washington, Oregon, and Maine. I am also a certified yoga teacher specialized in Trauma Informed Yoga, Certified in Integrative Medicine & Nutrition for Mental Health and Trauma Treatment. My treatment approach is client-centered, eclectic & strengths-based within an evidence-based framework. I offer treatment options in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Narrative Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy. From a client-centered perspective, yogic movement, mindfulness meditation, and nutrition are also supplemented into the session. I work with Individuals 18+ and my specialties include anxiety, depression, trauma, military life/culture, LGBTQIA+ issues, race & cultural issues, somatic issues, personality disorders, and grief. I am a combat-veteran and have a personal understanding of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder from my own obstacles faced and currently live a life of Post-Traumatic Growth. Like a seed, our experiences can push through the darkness and oppression and reach for the light allowing for growth to fruit and fulfill our soul. I have lived in various countries around the world and traveled abroad and in 2013 I studied yoga and mindfulness in the Himalayas of India at Kailash Tribal School of Yoga and Holistic Healing. On my off-time I practice yoga and mindfulness daily, as well as enjoy hiking, biking, SUP, and various forms of exercising. I also find peace through connection with the Earth & gardening, and spending time with my family and animals.
