I have a certification in Life Coaching and two Master’s degrees in Public Health and in Mental Health Counseling. I am trained as an IFS therapist, have trauma certification, and use research-based, cutting edge tools such as EMDR, NLP, multimodal therapy and DBT. My specialty is in developmental trauma, and I have experience working effectively with PTSD, developmental trauma and neglect, anger management, anxiety, depression, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, ADHD, AODA, developmental disabilities, and Adjustment Disorder. I help adults, teens, and children suffering from stress, anger, isolation, and sadness heal their inner turmoil and find light in the face of overwhelming darkness. My approach will help you connect and nurture your innermost feelings, and feel more harmonious emotionally. My goal is to help you connect with your naturally healthy, growth-orientated self to live a calm, and joyful life. ALD Counseling aims to help you tap into your inner wisdom and find your own answers. This process takes courage and the ability to move with the ebb and flow of pain and rebirth, frustration and exuberance, light and darkness. It’s not always easy, but it is worth it!
