I am a dually licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) and Supervisor (LCADC-S). I am a current Ph.D. Candidate, who has passed all course work and comprehensive examinations, at Northcentral University in MFT with a specialization in military families and veterans. I am trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1, a Prepare and Enrich Facilitator, and a Certified Trauma Specialist. Not only do I advocate for change in the lives of my clients, but also, I advocate for mental health care at the legislative level for my profession. I have worked in multiple treatment settings (i.e., private practice, universities, religion-based centers, high schools, group homes, and community agencies). I care and want the best for others as they accomplish their life goals; no matter what obstacles have been placed before them. I believe in expanding thought and collaboration.
