I believe in a holistic approach to therapy. Healing for the mind, body, and soul as a collective is important to the healing process of the “whole” person. Although each individual and their circumstances may differ, I like to begin therapy using the cognitive behavioral model that focuses on reframing thoughts to support and encourage positive changes. I use a mix of evidenced based therapeutic approaches to help you, the client, move towards the goals you have identified for treatment.
I specialize in working with couples, LGBTQ, and individuals struggling with diverse issues related to stress, depression, anxiety, work related issues, family conflicts, relationship concerns, and family planning. My goal is to help you find your power and identify solutions and habits that allow you to live your best life. It is important that we work together to build a treatment plan using SMART goals. The time we spend together will be guided by you and your goals. During our session we will focus on developing skills and processing issues or concerns that move you closer towards your goals. I value your desire to be heard and validated as an individual. I will offer my support and respect you and your values without judgment. I take a holistic approach to counseling and take time to gather as much information as possible to support your needs. I use a blend of therapy styles to achieve the intended goals for treatment. The services you receive will be tailored to your needs as no two individuals are exactly alike.
I am a licensed psychotherapist in Georgia with over 5 years of experience servicing the community through group, family, and individual counseling. Congratulations on taking the first step to making a change for the better and I look forward to working with you and getting to know you.
