I am Gina Rose, a License Clinical Social Worker, with 15 years experience in counseling treating behavioral health, mental health needs, concurrent with substance use needs. I focus on a variety of specialties with populations and certain therapies that can be applied to a variety of needs. My specialty needs are Depression, Anxiety, Substance Use, Situational Stress, Dual Diagnosis, Decision Making Stress, Relationship Break Down, Grief & Loss, Guilt & Shame, Adults with childhood trauma/ Adult children of alcoholics/dysfunctional families, and many other stresses and diagnoses. My therapy models are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT-COPE, CBT-Insomnia, CBT-Suicide Prevention, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Motivational Enhancement Therapy, and working on Prolonged Exposure Therapy. I have limited abilities for couples with CBT, introduction to Gottman Model, and Brief Infidelity Interventions. My style is to learn about you, and infuse you with confidence with compassion. I am an advocate for freedom so I am a safe space for a variety of people across the spectrum of political beliefs, and personal identities. I am In-person at my office 9am-5pm, Weekdays, in Surf City/Holly Ridge, the Gateway Plaza Suites next to Pet Supplies Plus. To make regular attendance easier I provide virtual appointments.
