I am passionate about helping children and adults to recognize, express, and manage their feelings and develop resilience, gain self-acceptance, and learn skills for self-regulation and self-expression so they can feel a full spectrum of their emotions without fear of being overwhelmed by them. I have extensive experience working with children and adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, and grief using trauma informed and strengths based approaches, and when working with clients I take into account I offer a supportive environment that allows you to feel comfortable, empowered, challenged, and understood. I can be funny, empathetic, thoughtful, and creative in our work together, which I believe is an integral piece to the therapeutic relationship. I believe everyone can benefit from therapy because it allows us to understand how our mind is linked to our overall physical health. It helps us find words and meaning to the feelings that we may not understand in a safe environment.
